Fariel Soeleiman was born and raised in Suriname and moved to the Netherlands at the age of 21 to pursue higher education. Since then, she has successfully completed two Bachelor’s degrees in music and has built a dynamic career in the film industry.

Fariel is also active as a freelance photographer, content creator, and social media marketer, channeling her creativity into projects that celebrate and connect with Suriname. Her entrepreneurial and artistic spirit is reflected in her ability to merge professional growth with meaningful cultural expression.

Through her YouTube channel, Stukaderen in Nederland, Fariel provides honest and practical guidance for Surinamese students considering studying in the Netherlands. She covers topics ranging from visa procedures and housing to navigating culture shock, helping students feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.

As the SFPC Ambassador Netherlands, Fariel is passionate about using her experiences and platforms to guide, inspire, and connect Surinamese students with the tools and insights they need to thrive academically, professionally, and personally abroad.
