Sigourney Kame is a purpose-driven professional from Suriname whose journey reflects excellence, resilience, and impactful leadership. A former NCAA Division I volleyball athlete, she moved to the United States on a full athletic scholarship to Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion.
She continued her academic path with distinction, completing a Master’s degree in Sports Science at Nova Southeastern University with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Sigourney is currently advancing her expertise through a Master of Science in Hospitality Management at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami.
Her professional experience spans sports, business operations, and community engagement. Sigourney has contributed to meaningful initiatives at Goodman JFS of Broward County and gained valuable industry exposure through roles and internships with prominent organizations such as Inter Miami CF, the Florida Panthers, and the Miami Heat.
As the SFPC Ambassador USA, Sigourney brings her passion for service, teamwork, and empowerment to the forefront. She is dedicated to fostering impactful connections and supporting the growth and engagement of the Suriname Foreign Policy Community worldwide.
